110718WUE

Probably one of the finest looking examples of the rare WOTTON-UNDER-EDGE maltese cross in existence. A 4 margin example from plate 18 lettered RC and showing fine basal shift, cancelled upright and almost full strike of this spectacular cross. However on close inspection it appears to be thinned and paper stuck on the reverse to disguise this fact. Looks perfect to the naked eye - I thought it was when I bought it !
